Like the pirated copy of a film illegally recorded at a movie theatre, the videos collected in this playlist are unauthorised reproductions of various works of video art. Shot and uploaded by multiple users, these videos allow for mediated access to significant artworks, while also making visible their contemporary modes of presentation. Taking the form of a YouTube playlist, these videos are collected in the same platform through which they aim to be disseminated. As an evolving playlist, videos are added when encountered or suggested, and gaps occur when they are deleted for personal or copyright reasons.
